Accessing Drop-In Advising

Academic advisors offer both remote and in-person drop-in advising options.

Drop-ins are for quick, 5-10 minute questions. For long-term/degree planning, plan adjustments, or complex questions, an appointment is required. Your advisor will address the most urgent question and can help you make an appointment.

To find out when your advisor holds drop-ins, login to uff Portal Advising and click their photo to access their calendar. 

If you are interested in exploring a major or minor, advisors hold open drop-ins for any student on Mondays from 1-3pm. You can learn how to join their drop-ins by clicking the "Meet With a Different Advisor" tile in .

If you are incoming first-year or transfer student, please make a full appointment with your assigned advisor. Your first advising meeting will be 30-45 minutes in order to get to know you, address your questions, and prepare you to begin your journey at Âé¶¹Ãâ·Ñ°æÏÂÔØin your major.

If you are showing any signs of illness, please use remote drop-ins to protect the health of others.
