BeccaÌýSteinbach
- Assistant Director of Graduate Career Management
- GRADUATE PROGRAMS
Becca’s career in higher education is motivated by improving the student experience and championing the unique strengths that each student brings. For the past decade, she has coached and advised students of all backgrounds at large public and small private universities through roles in career advising, academic support, academic advising, and leadership programs. She brings to Leeds a desire to serve graduate students as they refine their career goals, gain new experiences, and develop skillsets that will set them apart in the job market.
Becca’s interest in working with students began at her undergraduate alma mater, Trinity University in San Antonio, Texas. She earned her Bachelor of Arts in Communication and Human Communication, with minors in Women’s and Gender Studies and Communication Management. Her experiences working in the Office of Admissions and on the Orientation Team led her to pursue her master’s in Educational Leadership and Policy from the University of Texas at Austin, with a graduate portfolio certificate in Women’s and Gender Studies. Her favorite part of her job is learning about each of the students she works with, and strategizing for their future success. When she’s not at work, you can find her trying new restaurants with her husband, or enjoying a good book on the couch with her cat and dog.
