This week, the Center for Western Civilization, Thought & Policy welcomes Henry R. Nau.ÌýHenry R. Nau, a rare conservative scholar in the academic world, is professor of political science and international affairs at the Elliott School of International Affairs, The George Washington University. ÌýThe author of numerous books and articles, he also served in the White House under President Ronald Reagan. He has a B.S. degree from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, and M.A. and Ph.D degrees from The Johns Hopkins University's School of Advanced International Studies.Ìý
, Executive Editor of the National Review, to discuss the "Two Kinds of Patriotism" on Thursday, Oct. 26th
On Oct 26th, the CWCTP will welcomeÌýReihan Salam, executive editor of the National Review and a National Review Institute Policy Fellow. He is a contributing editor of National Affairs, a member of the board of New America, and an advisor to the Energy Innovation Reform Project and the Niskanen Institute. Previously, Salam was an associate editor at The Atlantic, a producer for NBC News, a junior editor and editorial researcher at the New York Times, a research associate at the Council on Foreign Relations, and a reporter-researcher at The New Republic. With Ross Douthat, Salam is the co-author of (Doubleday, 2008).
