Participant Support Costs

It’s a great time to review UCB’s policy and FAQ pages related to these types of expenses. Some notable items:

  • ÌýÌýAllowable: Stipends for Non-Employees; Travel for participants (non-employees); Meals (excluding catering)

  • ÌýÌýUnallowable: Payroll and Benefits; Catering; Incentives; Honoraria

Participant support is a portion of the award specifically created by the sponsoring agency to enrich learning experiences.

Monitoring is completed by the cost share accountantÌýon a quarterly basis to ensure expenses meet the participant support guidelines, and specifically theÌýrestrictions, contained in the terms and conditions of participantÌýaward.
