Stewart Elliot

Stewart Elliott serves as Director of Veteran & Military Affairs on the Student Life Leadership Team. A native of Boulder, Colorado, he graduated from the University of Colorado NROTC program and was commissioned as an Ensign in the U.S. Navy. He completed Basic Underwater Demolition/SEAL Training in 1985, graduating with Class 133.

Captain Elliott commanded Naval Special Warfare Unit THREE in Bahrain, SEAL Team FOUR in Virginia, Naval Special Warfare Unit TWO in Germany, and Naval Special Warfare Center in Coronado, California. His operational assignments included multiple SEAL Teams, SEAL Delivery Vehicle Team TWO, and Joint Special Operations Command.

He also served in key staff and training roles, including Naval Special Warfare Command Chief of Staff and Director of Training. He completed education at the University of Colorado, National University, and the Naval War College, earning degrees in public administration and national security studies.

His awards include multiple Legions of Merit and Bronze Star Medals, along with numerous other commendations recognizing his distinguished service.
