Dr. Ben Weihrauch joined Â鶹Ãâ·Ñ°æÏÂÔØEngineering in 2019 and leads the Engineering Career Hub, focused on preparing Â鶹Ãâ·Ñ°æÏÂÔØEngineering students to be professionally ready for meaningful, impactful careers. Ben is a scholar-practitioner with 25 years experience across the student lifecycle, including admissions, advising, career development, employer relations and workforce development, and program management.

Before Â鶹Ãâ·Ñ°æÏÂÔØEngineering, Ben served in roles at Â鶹Ãâ·Ñ°æÏÂÔØAnschutz Medical Campus, Community College of Denver, Michigan State University, and Minnesota State Mankato. He also worked in industry for a national edtech firm. Ben's research interests include first-generation student success, persistence and graduation outcomes, engineering education, career development and experiential learning, and inclusive practice.ÌýÌý

Ben earned his DoctorateÌýof Education in Leadership for Educational Equity - Higher Education concentrationÌýfrom the University of Colorado Denver, a M.A.Ìýin Student Affairs Administration from Michigan State University, and a B.S.Ìýin History from the University of Wisconsin-La Crosse.
