Â鶹Ãâ·Ñ°æÏÂÔØ

Volunteer and help reduce waste from students moving out of on campus housing during our Give & Go donation drive. Volunteers will help collect and sort donated items so that they can be distributed back to the Â鶹Ãâ·Ñ°æÏÂÔØand local community. There are three volunteer shifts available:

• Runner: during the main move out week help Â鶹Ãâ·Ñ°æÏÂÔØEnvironmental Center student staff collect donations from residence halls on campus. Shifts will include organizing and moving donations, tidying donation areas and talking to students about the benefits of donating
• Buff Pantry Donation Sorting Volunteer: after move out ends help the Â鶹Ãâ·Ñ°æÏÂÔØBuff Pantry sort collected food and personal care items. Food items that are usable will be taken to the Buff Pantry for the Â鶹Ãâ·Ñ°æÏÂÔØcommunity to pick up for free. Expired and opened items will be composted.
• Â鶹Ãâ·Ñ°æÏÂÔØSurplus Store Sorting Volunteer: after move out ends help the staff at the Â鶹Ãâ·Ñ°æÏÂÔØSurplus Store sort through donated items. Items will be stocked in the Â鶹Ãâ·Ñ°æÏÂÔØSurplus Store for resale at low cost and saved for sale during fall welcome in August.
