As part of a NASA grant awarded to Dr. Jennifer Balch and colleagues at the University of Massachusetts Amherst and the University of Idaho to study climate and land use drivers of invasive-grass fueled fires across the western U.S., Jennifer- Robert Andrus, Joel Correia, Angela Cunningham, Zhaxi Duojie, Mehran Ghandehari, Eric Lovell and Kyle Rodman have each received a Beverly Sears Research Grant. These grants provide funds to assist the student with their PhD research.
