Time & Labor Go-live and Payday Schedule Change Update

This communication is directed to nonexempt employees impacted by the Payday Schedule Change (PDSC), in addition to all Boulder campus supervisors.Ìý
Dear employees,Ìý
Given the recent announcement that the (T&L) go-live has been moved to Feb. 28, 2027, we would like to provide information on how that change affects the biweekly pay transition schedule for impacted .Ìý
What is changingÌý
Because the T&L go-live date has shifted, the transition from monthly to biweekly pay will now align with the new go-live date. This ensures payroll accuracy and a smoother implementation of time reporting.ÌýÌý
Transition payments for eligibility will also move to be issued in March 2027. See details on transition payment eligibility below.Ìý

Updated transition scheduleÌýÌý
February 1–27, 2027: Final monthly pay period for regular earnings.Ìý
Feb. 28, 2027: Time & Labor go-live; Biweekly pay begins (paid in ).Ìý
Feb. 28–March 13, 2027Ìý
- First biweekly pay period under the new system.Ìý
- A transition payment will be issued to eligible employees in March 2027 to help adjust to the new pay schedule.Ìý
March 14–27, 2027 and ongoingÌý
- Regular biweekly pay cycle continues.Ìý
Why this change was madeÌý
The adjusted go-live date reflects our commitment to delivering a stable, fully integrated solution for Âé¶¹Ãâ·Ñ°æÏÂÔØemployees and the scale and complexity of the work underway. Aligning the pay transition with this updated timeline reduces risk and helps ensure employees are paid accurately during the change.Ìý
Transition payment eligibilityÌýÌý
Transition payments will only be issued to nonexempt employees hired before Feb. 1, 2027, who will be transitioning from monthly to biweekly, in-arrears pay.ÌýÌý
Nonexempt employees who are already paid in arrears, such as monthly on-call or 1% on-call positions, are ineligible for the transition payment.  Ìý
