Sept 20: Hike to Chautauqua Park
International Student and Scholar Services (ISSS), in collaboration with Outdoor Pursuits, will be taking a group of international students on a hike to Chautauqua Park.
Join us as we explore the trails right out our back door! Meet other international students and learn tips for planning a successful day hike.聽
Participants must be able to carry a 15lb daypack while hiking up to five miles on rocky and variable terrain.
The hike will take place on the morning of September 20th. ISSS will cover 75% of the cost of the trip. Students must pay the remaining 25%, or $6.25, to reserve their place on the trip. Outdoor Pursuits will provide hiking equipment, expert guides and transportation. There will be a mandatory pre-trip meeting on Thursday, September 18th from 6-6:30pm.
Outdoor Program trips and courses are official functions of the University of Colorado at Boulder, and therefore all University policies apply. Illegal drugs, marijuana, and alcohol are expressly prohibited.聽
