Toon Leader + PLC Staff
A Toon Leader’s job is to support transformational leadership development by providing meaningful opportunities to the PLC community.
The Toon Leaders achieves their job by:
- Reviewing and responding toÌýToonÌýMembers’ weekly Captain’s Logs
- Preparing and facilitating a discussion surrounding the weekly writing assignment during recitation; carefully reviewing preparatory materials from Prof. ATD
- Meeting with the team of ToonÌýLeaders once a week, under theÌýleadership of an undergraduate teamÌýleaderÌýand Prof. ATD
- Keeping an informal log documenting your work and experienceÌý
- Participating in preparatory/orientation session in August, and also in debriefing/assessment session in December.

PLC-ENLP Alignment specific duties include:
- Map PLC and ENLP requirements
- Survey ENLP/PLC students on ways in which they see the two programs being co-beneficial and how
- Identify areas/places/elements that are similar between the two programs
- Brainstorm ways in which to align/sync program requirements to ease the burden on students
- Create a proposal for ENLP-PLC alignment/partnership
- Deliver the proposal in a formal presentation for professional staff and faculty of ENLP and PLC.
