The focus of SPECS is to understand and develop organic polymers, so called soft materials, that can be used in transporting electrons, for applications in batteries, electronics, solar energy harvesting, and thermoelectrics.</p><p>Each year members of the Center, which include researchers from seven institutions across the United States, come together to discuss recent research discoveries and brainstorm new ideas to drive the field forward.
