Past participants experiences, outcomes

鈥淭his course has helped me see the importance of open dialogue and inclusion in the classroom. I now understand how different perspectives can improve learning and create a more welcoming environment for everyone. It has also made me more aware of how teaching practices and curriculum design can impact student engagement!鈥

鈥淥ne aspect of the program I found most effective was how it focused on active listening. A lot of times we think we鈥檙e listening, but we鈥檙e actually just waiting to respond. This course taught me how important it is to really listen to understand, not just to reply. It made the conversations feel more real, respectful, and meaningful. I think that skill changed the way I approach discussions both inside and outside of class.鈥

鈥淚 am now a lot more confident in creating powerful and strategic questions, being able to identify different power structures and dialogue types, and being able to facilitate dialogue. I am more conscious of the ways that facilitators can completely transform discussion, dialogue, and class culture.鈥
