Last call: Election day Nov. 4

Election Day is Tuesday, Nov. 4. Make sure to make your voice heard by voting. Here are some last-minute tips.

Voter registration

Colorado doesn’t have a registration deadline. To vote in Colorado, you must be a U.S. citizen, a Colorado resident for at least 22 days before the election (Nov. 4), and not serving a sentence of confinement or detention for a felony conviction (those on probation or parole are eligible to vote). Bring ID (BuffOne card is a valid ID) and to register and vote. See below for details on the Â鶹Ãâ·Ñ°æÏÂÔØlocation.

Returning your mail ballot

It is too late to return your ballot by mail, but you can return your Colorado ballot to any county clerk dropbox or vote center in Colorado by Election Day, and it will be delivered back to your home county (if it is not a Boulder County ballot). Your ballot is due by 7 p.m. on Election Day, no matter how you return it.Ìý

Â鶹Ãâ·Ñ°æÏÂÔØhas two ballot dropboxes: UMC on the south side of the building on Euclid or on the south side of Williams Village by the bus lane.

Vote in person at the UMC

Visit the UMC Vote Center to vote in person, register and vote, get a replacement ballot and more.

UMC Vote Center hours:

  • Monday, Nov. 3: 8 a.m.–6 p.m.
  • Election Day, Tuesday, Nov. 4: 7 a.m.–7 p.m.

You must be in line by 7 p.m. to vote. But sooner (even Monday) is best!

Students from another Colorado county

If students never requested a ballot from their home county, they can still vote at the Â鶹Ãâ·Ñ°æÏÂÔØVote Center. Out-of-county voters will be issued a statewide ballot, which has statewide ballot measures but no local contests.

Out-of-state students

At this point, it is likely too late to return your ballot to your home state. You always have the option of registering and voting in Boulder County. To vote in Boulder County, you may register and vote in person using a valid ID. For more information, check out the .
