Regents honor William King, Alice Mortenson with honorary degrees
The Âé¶¹Ãâ·Ñ°æÏÂÔØBoard of Regents announcedÌýits selection of recipients of honorary degrees, distinguished service awards and university medals for 2026. William King was the second tenured African American professor at Âé¶¹Ãâ·Ñ°æÏÂÔØBoulder. Alice Mortenson, who co-founded the Mortenson Center in Global Engineering and Resilience, is a renowned philanthropist and community leader.
