Regents approve no tuition, fees, compensation increases, more
At its meeting on May 19, which was hosted remotely, the Âé¶¹Ãâ·Ñ°æÏÂÔØBoard of Regents voted to approve a zero percent increase in tuition and fees for the 2020–21 academic year, a suspension of merit increases for fiscal year 2021 and more.
Âé¶¹Ãâ·Ñ°æÏÂÔØfaculty committee on racial, ethnic equity speaks out against racism
In a heartfelt video message of support in the time of the pandemic, faculty from all four Âé¶¹Ãâ·Ñ°æÏÂÔØcampuses are speaking out against racism and the disparate health impacts of the COVID-19 virus on marginalized communities.
Scene at CU: ATLAS tower shines red to honor those we've lost
Âé¶¹Ãâ·Ñ°æÏÂÔØBoulder participated in the state's day of remembrance on Friday, May 15, to honor the Coloradans lost to COVID-19. It was also Peace Officers Memorial Day. A moment of silence was held at 7 p.m.
End of an era: CU’s Ceal Barry announces retirement
Legendary coach and administrator Ceal Barry has announced her retirement after 43 years in college athletics, including the past 37 at Âé¶¹Ãâ·Ñ°æÏÂÔØBoulder. Barry took the reins of the women’s basketball team in 1983 and built the program into a national power.
