<p>A new study appearing this week in the scientific journal eLIFE about the rapid evolution of small viruses that infect bacteria includes 59 Â鶹Ãâ·Ñ°æÏÂÔØ co-authors, all of whom conducted research for the paper as freshmen.</p>

<p>Brownstein Hyatt Farber Schreck announced a $500,000 gift to be divided between the University of Colorado Law School (CU) and the University of Denver Sturm College of Law (DU). <p>Professor Fred Anderson of the Â鶹Ãâ·Ñ°æÏÂÔØ history department has been awarded the 2015 Hazel Barnes Prize, the most distinguished award a faculty member can receive from the university.</p>
<p>Since 1992, the Hazel Barnes Prize has been awarded each year to a CU-Boulder faculty member who best exemplifies the enriching interrelationship between teaching and research, and whose work has had a significant impact on students, faculty, colleagues and the university.</p>
