"><strong>Forge Nano</strong></a> is an advanced materials company based on Atomic Layer Deposition (ALD) nanocoating technology. Susan joined the inaugural External Advisory Board for the <a href="/researchinnovation" rel="nofollow"><strong>Research &amp; Innovation Office</strong></a>, helping to shape the direction of this important enterprise at the university.</p><p>Since then, <a href="/venturepartners/node/2741" rel="nofollow"><strong>Susan has been a mainstay within our I-Corps<sup>TM</sup> programs</strong></a>, as both an instructor and coordinator. We estimate that she has mentored over 500 early-stage innovators during her time with the university—incredible!</p><p>Beyond 鶹ѰBoulder, Susan similarly has supported many other parts of the startup community, including leading SAGE Boulder for many years (which provides pro bono support for new founders) and helping to stand up the <a href="https://www.meetup.com/bdnewtech/events/312311253/" rel="nofollow"><strong>Women's Venture Challenge in Boulder</strong></a> this year.</p><p>It’s been a great pleasure for me personally, and for so many others at our university, to work with Susan.
